Exciting weekend on field lure coursing for Pre in Socal! He won BOB for his first major on Saturday and pulled off such a strong run for BIF that he tied the whippet forcing a BIF runoff. The whippet came out ahead but super proud of my big red boy for sticking with a great running racewhippet. On Sunday, Prefontaine ran like his namesake Risa won specials and Pre won open so the two faced off for breed and although it was really a nice run for both of them in terms of agility, Pre powered down the stretch at the end and won breed for his second major (5pt!). He went on to run for best in field with excellent endurance even though it was his 9th run of the weekend! There were some excellent runners and it was very close between the racewhippet and pharaoh who were outstanding, but PRE WON HIS FIRST BEST IN FIELD!!!!!! GOOOOOOO PRE!!!
